Steps Ordered by the LORD (Poem)

Our steps are ordered by the LORD, in ways we cannot see,

How can we understand our path and where we are meant to be?

Whenever we turn right or left, His voice will softly say,

“This is the way; walk in it,” guiding us each day.

Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me,”

In His hands, eternal life, safe for all eternity.

No one can snatch them from His grasp, secure in His embrace,

In a world of empty promises, His love is our safe place.

People seek to use and twist with promises untrue,

But thank the LORD our steps are His, our guidance ever new.

We surrender to God, not to man, His wisdom is our guide,

In His light, we check the path; with Him, we do abide.

Check the background, see the truth of those who cross your way,

Know what they stand for before you choose to stay.

Our steps are ordered by the LORD, bringing peace to our soul,

In His direction, we find life; in His hands, we are whole.

So listen to His gentle call, let His voice lead you through,

In every twist and turn of life, His path is always true.

For in His way, there is peace and purpose deeply stored,

Our steps are ordered by the LORD; forever, we are assured.
