Strong Tower (Poem)

The name of the Lord is a strong tower,

A fortress of strength in every hour.

The righteous run into it, and there they find,

Safety and peace, for the heart and mind.

Never let go of God, hold Him tight,

In good times and bad, in the darkest night.

In God, we live, move, and have our being,

His light is our guide; His love is all-seeing.

God is our hope, our steady guide,

In His presence, we safely abide.

Do not be wicked; let kindness reign,

Do unto others; let love sustain.

Always be on speaking terms with the Divine,

In prayer and faith, let your spirit shine.

For in His tower, we are embraced,

By grace and mercy, by love interlaced.

The name of the Lord, a strong tower indeed,

A refuge for all who truly believe.

So run to Him in every hour,

Find peace and strength in His mighty power.
