The incomparable Power of a Christian 10

The Holy Spirit enforces God’s Grace 1

In life, many people have done things they didn’t initially believe they could do and achieve or many of us have endured pain and looking back we say how did I go through that, or survive that period.

The answer to that above could be termed as God’s Grace. Then as I always like starting with questions, the obvious question is what Grace is. ?

Before I start with the biblical definition of Grace, In the Bible, God often asked His messengers what they saw, one of the ways God communicates to us is through what we see, He uses pictures to reveal more profound things to us.

Anyway, back to Grace, According to Wikipedia, Grace is described as a gift from Heavenly Father given through His Son, Jesus Christ. The word Grace, as used in the scriptures, refers primarily to enabling Power and spiritual healing offered through the mercy and Love of Jesus Christ. … The Grace of God helps us every day.

As an Enabling power, we can do the impossible and endure those hard situations in life that no one is immune from, but it’s how we handle such situation that determines if we become stronger as a result of it or it breaks a person.

Grace is also referred to as divine influence. The subtitle is called the Holy Spirit, enforces God Grace. The reason I say this is that I see Grace as a component of the Holy Spirit, if a person is spirit-filled, then Grace will be automatic – confidence to do the impossible and strength to endure challenging times.

Grace can also be perceived as the mercy of God, we see in scriptures – Ephesians 2: 8 For by Grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The above depicts the Mercy of God, and the famous song Amazing Grace is about God’s Mercy.

In as much as it’s incredible and great to walk with the Lord, one has to be careful and not to let pride kick in.

The reason I say this is that when God’s Power is on us, a person can feel invincible, not just the Power, but also the by-products of the anointing such as revelation and the Knowledge of Spiritual things.

The Bible says Knowledge puffs up, but Love builds up (1 Corinthians 8:1)

Puffed up means someone proud of them self and they think they are very important.
Another version says while Knowledge makes us feel important Loves strengthens the Church.

So may we always walk in Love and try and introduce people to the Holy Spirit, and I think street preachers should bear this in mind, yes most people have missed the mark, but its only the Power of the Holy Spirit that can change a life, as the Holy Spirit did to us.

A powerful part of scripture that explains my point of us not being the prideful of our benefits of walking with God Almighty is found in 2 Corinthians 12: 1-10.
To be continued.

Finally, I just want to Thank God for my amazing nieces and nephew, they are the best in the world, and I am so proud of them.

I also like to use this opportunity to congratulate the newly elected Governor of Lagos State of Nigeria, Governor Jide Sanwo-olu . I pray God’s Blessing over his life, God’s protection, wisdom to lead his people and divine favour in Jesus NAME.

Remember Jesus Christ is the Light & Saviour of the World.
God Bless
