The Holy Spirit shows us God’s Divine Order 7
For the Holy Spirit to communicate God’s Divine Order to us requires an essential task from our part.
This undertaking, called Prayer, has been removed from most schools. In a lot of instances, it has been done away with in many Churches.
In Psalm 109, verse 4b, it says ‘’ But I gave myself to Prayer’’. Prayer is the only way to see the incomparable Power of a Christian at work.
In these last days with the world getting darker and darker, the ONLY way to survive is to give ourselves to Prayer.
Corporate Prayer is excellent and has its place, as it brings our attention to the importance of Prayer, but if you are a target, or marked by the enemy the only way to overcome is to give yourself to personal Prayer, alone with God (closet prayer time).
As an introvert my best way to pray is alone, not only that, the enemy can strike at any time; hence one has to be ever ready to engage in the authority given by our Saviour and use it for whatever battle comes one’s way.
In fact, what I have seen in the last several years, and come to the conclusion, that not only is Prayer a lifestyle for a Christian, but also Spiritual warfare is a way of life especially for those who are targets of the enemy.
It is in Prayer that we have the mind of Christ, (no promise of God is automatic), the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:16 16 For who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord, so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes].
The above verse can also be linked to Romans 8: 26-28, The Holy Spirit helps us in Prayer, so that we know God’s purpose and in this engagement, we have the mind of Christ.
Romans 8- 26-28. In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what Prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words. 27 And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because the Spirit intercedes [before God] on behalf of [a] God’s people in accordance with God’s will.
28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
If you have been walking with the Lord for a while, you would have realized that God’s purpose is not as straight forward as we would like it to be, in fact, there often seem a lot of confusion in the atmosphere.
What we have to be fully aware of is that, God is not the author of confusion (2 Corinthians 14:33), it’s the enemy of our Soul, along with his agents that put us in a state of puzzlement; hence Prayer is critical.
No human being can genuinely and effectively serve God without Prayer; it’s only the false and fake Ministers that don’t need Prayer. Any Church that does not emphasize on the importance of Prayer is a Church one MUST flee.
Whatever God is leading a person to fulfill their spiritual assignment, there will be opposition. (2 Corinthians16:9) For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
Therefore we have to be good soldiers and carry on with the work. Talking about soldiers, how come Saudi Arabia can’t defend themselves and need troops from the west.
Isn’t it the same Saudi Arabia that sponsors Islamic militant groups? They also killed a Journalist (Jamal Khashoggi) for writing the truth. Anyway, enough said.
Sorry that I went off track, but sometimes we the people have to call things out as they are, we have been deceived for too long.
Prayer equals POWER; there is no short cut.
It’s prayers of the early Church that enabled them to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ that you and I are benefiting from today.
It’s when we pray that we will have Power, so the world can see the manifestations of the sons/ daughters of God (Romans 8:19, For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed.
It is also when we pray that we will be people that know their God ,and be strong and do exploits, (Daniel 11:32 Amplified) but the people who [are spiritually mature and] know their God will display strength and take action [to resist].
It is from prayer that we can boldly share our Faith, and not be intimidated by anyone.
May God give us a Praying Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen
Remember Jesus Christ is the Light & Saviour of the World.
God Bless
