The Incomparable Power of a Christian 40

The Holy Spirit’s Gift of Miracles.

The word Miracle is defined in the Cambridge dictionary as an unusual and mysterious event that is thought to have been caused by God because it does not follow the natural laws of nature.

I want to point out that God is above all natural Laws and Laws of nature.

Another definition is Miracles as an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency.

To receive a Miracle or to perform a Miracle, one MUST believe and be expectant.

Kathryn Kuhlman has a book titled I believe in Miracles and guest what? God used her to perform many Miracles of healing.

According to Wikipedia, the Gift of Miracles is imparted to individuals by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

This Gift, like all other gifts of the Holy Spirit, is supernatural. The Holy Spirit in every Christian is supernatural, and it’s the same Power used to perform Miracles in by the Old and New Testament, and that raised Jesus from the dead.

Examples of this Power at work are: David killing Goliath, Samson killing a lion with his bare hands, Moses parting the Red sea and the list goes on. In the New Testament, we see Jesus turning water into wine, raising dead – Lazarus, etc.

Believe is the cornerstone for performing and receiving a Miracle. To believe for the miraculous, one has to be deep in the Spirit / Zone. In other words, one MUST detach oneself from the natural and have one’s mind consciousness set on Heavenly things.

To walk in the dimension of Miracles, one has to be focused more in the Spirit realm than the physical realm. When one is in such an atmosphere, things of this world become so small, in material and irrelevant.

A person deep in the Spirit / heavenly zones would see themselves bigger and higher than the affairs of this world. (Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, 1 John 4:4).

What we call a miracle in the natural world, is referred to as normal in the Spirit world, and since a Christian – saved and born- again operates in two realms (the Spiritual and the natural), then has the potential and ability to perform Miracles.

A mature Christian according to the book of Hebrews 6:4-5 is

4 enlightened, who have consciously tasted the heavenly Gift and have become sharers of the Holy Spirit,

5 And have felt how good the Word of God is and the mighty powers of the age and world to come.

However, the above verse must be maintained and used because if one doesn’t use it, one will lose it.

To consistently flow and operate at a high level in the Spirit (performing miracles, etc.), the Spirit realm MUST be one’s center of attention

Also, when God is ready to use a person in the area of miracles, He would make sure that such a person’s heart’s desire has been granted, such as a spouse, as one can’t afford to be distracted.

A person that would be used in this area is someone that understands the POWER of the spoken words, and the effect of idle words. It is words spoken that cause a miracle to happen and change the dynamics in the Spirit world, and the Spirit world controls our natural world. Everything is connected.

Another critical point, as seen in the Bible, is when the Lord is with a person, oh my goodness, such a person will be flowing in POWER & FAITH. (for God to be with us, we must be with Him) Draw near to God and He would draw near to you. (James 4:8)

The Bible says in 1 Samuel 3:19 Now Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and He let none of his words [a]fail [to be fulfilled]. Another version says none of Prophet Samuel’s words fell to the ground.

When a person’s Spirit and mind are trained, then one’s thoughts and words affect and can change any atmosphere.

People accept whatever the natural world throws at them, such as medical conditions, but as a Christian, if something doesn’t line up with the word of God, we reject it and start to speak the word of God over such condition.

The more one is in the natural, the less one is in the Spirit, and the less Power to believe and perform miraclesSmith Wigglesworth didn’t read the newspaper. He didn’t allow his visitors bring to newspapers into his house and am sure he didn’t watch television either, and that’s why he could perform all the miracles he did. He just totally walked with God, consumed by the Holy Spirit’s presence

We become what we feed our flesh with; to be effective, spiritual powerful we must continuously set of mind on things above, and starve one’s flesh and feed one’s spirit.

In other words, we have to be in the Spirit/ Zone for the POWER to flow

How come the Body of Christ doesn’t many Smith Wigglesworth’s & Kathryn Kuhlman’s etc. I believe there is a correlation between the time one spends in God’s presence and the miracles God can perform through such an individual.

There are different ways of getting God’s Power (the anointing) on us. Our responsibility is finding what approach works for us. For example, Smith Wigglesworth & Kathryn Kuhlman had different prayer styles and different methods of spending time in God’s presence. The basic is the same – prayer& the word, etc., but techniques are different.

That’s why the shepherd boy David couldn’t flow in King Saul’s armor, not only had he not tested it, his method and relationship with God was different.

We must find our unique flow with God because the world is hungry for the truth, and are waiting for the Children of God.

When people don’t know the truth (Word of God), they accept anything the world and life (Doctor’s) throw at them. A skilled Christian, on the other hand, wouldn’t receive such reports and situations that don’t line up with the truth. (Word of God).

When people can’t receive the truth of the Gospel, they suffer and believe the wrong report, totally clueless about the Power of the Gospel, and the reason why I am proud of my Christian faith and the Powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ, is because I have experienced it(Power of the Good news) over and over again.

Now, I wouldn’t lie and say it’s a comfortable or easy journey, it’s not, there is a high price to pay, but we are not alone; Jesus is with us all the way. Ultimately, it’s worth it, as one is being a Blessing to mankind.

Please listen to the song below and be Blessed. I Love the song and lyrics, it’s so true. Relatable.

Remember, Jesus Christ is the Light & Saviour of the World.

God Bless
