The Narrow and the Wide (Poem)

Enter through the narrow gate, they say,
For a wide, easy path leads another way,
To destruction and eternal loss, they warn,
Where many tread, in their pursuits, reborn.

But small is the gate, narrow and steep,
A path less traveled, secrets to keep,
Leading to everlasting life, they say,
A road of challenge where few find their way.

The wide gate beckons, with comforts in sight,
An alluring path where pleasure feels right,
But its end is uncertain, a deceptive parade,
Where many are lost in the choices they’ve made.

The narrow gate stands less traveled, it seems,
A path of resilience, where reality gleams,
Leading to life everlasting, where truth abides,
A journey of few, in its challenges, resides.

So ponder these words as life’s journey unfolds,
The choice is yours, as the future unfolds,
The narrow or wide, which path will you choose?
In the end, your decision, your destiny, your dues.
