(Verse 1) Yo, listen up, let me tell you ’bout the righteous and the wicked; it’s a tale of two paths; let’s get this message kicked. Blessed is the one who ain’t walking with the crowd, Not in the counsel of the wicked; he’s not hanging out.
Sinners in the path, scoffers in the seat, But the righteous ain’t following that deceit. They’re delightin’ in the law, day and night they meditate, Seeking wisdom and guidance, yo, they don’t hesitate.
(Chorus) We are like a tree by the water, roots runnin’ deep, Fruits in every season, our promises we keep. Our Leaves never wither; we stand strong and tall. In everything we do, we rise and never fall.
(Verse 2) But the wicked, oh, they’re like chaff in the breeze, Worthless and empty, they’re not hard to please. When judgment comes, they won’t have a leg to stand. In the righteous assembly, they won’t make a stand.

(Bridge) The Lord knows the righteous; their hearts are pure. In His favor and grace, they’ll forever endure. But the wicked’s path, it’s gonna fade away; in God’s light, they’ll perish, ain’t nothin’ more to say.
