Treasures of the Heart (Poem)

In the chambers of the heart, deep and vast,
Lie treasures unseen, shadows cast.
For from its depths, the true self unfurls,
Revealing the essence, the gems or pearls.

A good soul, from goodness, does spring,
In words and deeds, a melody to sing.
But in the heart of darkness, evil resides,
Manifesting in deceit, where truth hides.

From the abundance of the heart, words spill,
A reflection of its contents, for good or ill.
It’s in the whispers, the silence profound,
That the true nature of the heart is found.

In a world where masks often adorn,
And true intentions are easily shorn,
Wisdom becomes the guide, the beacon bright,
To discern the true from the false light.

For not all who walk beside us are true,
Many wear masks, their motives askew.
But with wisdom as our steadfast guide,
We navigate the currents, in truth, to abide.

In the treasures of the heart lies the key,
To unlock the mysteries, to set us free.
With discernment as our trusted art,
We navigate the journey, guarding the heart.

So let us listen with a soulful ear,
To the whispers of the heart, crystal clear.
For in its depths, truth shines like art,
Guiding us to recognize the treasures of the heart.
