Undercover (Poem)

For a long season , I’ve walked alone,
A silent witness, all unknown.
On a mission, undercover,
To study darkness, to uncover.

I’ve seen your tricks, your manipulation,
Your kingdom is built on domination.
Each move calculated, every scheme,
A web of lies, a twisted dream.

But I refuse to be ensnared,
By your darkness, I’m not scared.
For in the light, I’ve found my way,
And in truth, I choose to stay.

You and your kingdom, a blight on earth,
Spawned from darkness, devoid of worth.
Humanity’s disgrace, you stand,
In wickedness, your hearts demand.

So I keep my distance, I stay apart,
For we’re from different worlds, worlds apart.
Your plots and schemes, I’ll not befriend,
For, in the end, your reign will end.

Though you may reign in shadows deep,
I’ll stand in the light, my soul to keep.
For in the battle of dark and light,
I’ll fight for the truth with all my might.
