Watch and Wait (Poem)

In the stillness of the night, I’ll stay,
Watching and waiting for what you may say.
Listening to the whispers of your heart,
As our souls seem connected, never to depart.

Each time I catch a glimpse of your face,
My heart quickens its pace.
Do you feel the same in our shared gaze?
In this dance of emotions, our hearts ablaze?

As I watch and wait under the moon’s soft glow,
I promise to be good to you; this I vow.
For today and always, through joy and strife,
I’ll stand by your side in this dance of life.

Patiently, I’ll wait, with hope anew,
For the moment, our love blooms, pure and true.
Till then, I’ll watch and wait, with faith unfurled,
For the day when our love story is unfurled.

So let time pass, let the seasons change,
In the ebb and flow, our love will range.
For in the watching and waiting, we’ll find our fate,
Bound by love’s promise in the dance of wait.
