We know your hearts (Poem)

In a world of manipulation, where minds may sway,
Discerning people’s hearts it’s vital today.
The crisis in Gaza has unveiled much in display,
Leaders’ compassion, or its absence, in the light of day.

In leadership, empathy is the guiding star,
A leader who listens knows who the people are.
But some world leaders falter; their hearts seem far,
From the people they serve, causing wounds and scars.

Gaza’s pain is not rooted in religion or creed,
It’s about humanity, a call we all should heed.
Just like the Good Samaritan, in our own time and need,
We must rise with compassion as love takes the lead.

You so-called leaders, your hearts we now discern,
Lacking in compassion, the lessons we’ve learned.
You don’t represent the people; from that, we can discern,
True leadership listens; in their hearts, it’s confirmed.

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ watch and pray – we are in dark times. Trust NO-ONE until they show themselves trustworthy. They must earn our TRUST.

Until Next time, Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.
