What is Love ? (Rap)

In the forest of life, like a vine so free,
Love gives it’s all, like wood, to the fire, you see.
A sacrifice burning, fuel for the flame,
Love, the essence, forever to claim.

Love is patient, kind, a melody so sweet,
Envy and boasting, it will never meet.
Not rude or self-seeking, in anger it won’t dwell,
Forgiving, learning, a story to tell.

Love doesn’t delight in the shadows of wrong,
In truth, it dances a majestic song.
A shield for the heart, protecting with might,
Trusting, hoping through the darkest night.

Persevering always, through joy and strife,
In the symphony of life, love is the life.
Fellowship with the Spirit, the source from above,
In God’s embrace, we find perfect love.

No fear in love, for God, is its core,
Wise and discerning, forevermore.
On this pilgrimage, in this earthly season,
Love is the guide, the ultimate reason.

Recognizing the voice, that still small sound,
Guiding our steps on sacred ground.
Not gullible, but wise and keen,
In the tapestry of love, a vibrant sheen.

Knowing we’re here for a season in time,
Love is the rhythm, the reason, the rhyme.
A beacon of wisdom, a light that’s so bright,
In the dance of discernment, love takes flight.

Love is the compass in the sea so vast,
Discerning between right and wrong, from first to last.
Good and evil, in the grand design,
Love is the answer for all of time.
