What they didn’t know (Poem)

What they didn’t know is that you were sent as their peace,
A divine presence to make their troubles cease.
Sent to be the answer to prayers whispered low,
Unbeknownst to them, you were the blessings to bestow.

What they didn’t know, you arrived to assist,
To be the remedy, the one they could enlist.
In the silence of their hearts, where prayers reside,
You were the response; in you, God did confide.

They didn’t know; you held everything they sought,
A vessel of abundance, their desires you brought.
Loyal and real, the truth in every way,
You were the answer, the dawn of a brighter day.

But they let you go, unaware of your worth,
Betrayed, trashed, your value cast to the earth.
Blinded to the fact it was you they truly had,
The solution, the blessing, the everything they needed clad.

Through you, God intended to provide
A helping hand, in you, His love did abide.
. Yet, they chose to harm, to betray, and to sever
Unaware that it was you, their earthly treasure.

Now, as they reap what they’ve sown,
The realization dawns, the truth is known.
The blessing they rejected, the loyalty they spurned,
Leaving them to realize the lesson they’ve learned.

For what they didn’t know has slipped away,
The chance to be blessed in a brand-new way.
As they reflect on the deeds they have sown,
The consequence, the harvest, is now their own.

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ watch and pray – we are in dark times. Trust NO-ONE until they show themselves trustworthy. They must earn our TRUST.

Until Next time, Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.
