What We Love (Poem)

What we love, a gentle flame,
A guiding star, a whispered name.
A call that stirs the heart within,
A journey only we begin.

Yet often blind to the gifts we bear,
We miss the treasures nestled there.
But heaven sends, with gentle grace,
A friend, a guide, a loving face.

As I, a lecturer, take my stand,
To mold and guide with a careful hand.
I point to gifts my students own,
The seeds of purpose, brightly sown.

Speak life to those who cross your way,
Encourage hearts, inspire their day.
Lift others high, help them to see,
The wonder of their destiny.

So let your passions brightly burn,
And guide the world with each return.
For what we love is heaven’s plan,
A sacred gift placed in our hand.
