Wounded Inner Child (Song)

We all carry scars from the past, deep inside,

Especially those wounds from our childhood, we try to hide.

If they’re not healed, they shape who we become,

Affecting how we live and where we come from.

Hurt people hurt people, that’s what they say,

So healing is critical; we can’t turn away.

Wounded inner child, crying out in pain,

Angry and aggressive, trying to break the chain.

But there’s a path to healing, a way to find the light,

Through Spirit and forgiveness, we can make it right.

Spirituality is essential in every life,

We’re human and Spirit in the midst of strife.

The Spirit controls the natural, guides us through the storm,

We can heal our emotions, bring our souls back to form.

The inner child isn’t quiet nor passive at all,

It’s raging and hurting, breaking down the wall.

Wounded inner child, crying out in pain,

Angry and aggressive, trying to break the chain.

But there’s a path to healing, a way to find the light,

Through Spirit and forgiveness, we can make it right.

So much violence, so much bloodshed in the world we see,

Unresolved childhood trauma stored deep in you and me.

Look at history’s shadows, like Hitler’s bitter fate,

His wounded inner child unleashed a storm of hate.

Prisons are full of souls carrying their pain,

Men, women, and others, bound by trauma’s chain.

But healing is within our reach through Spirit’s gentle hand,

We can mend the wounds, and together, we’ll stand.

Wounded inner child, crying out in pain,

Angry and aggressive, trying to break the chain.

But there’s a path to healing, a way to find the light,

Through Spirit and forgiveness, we can make it right.

Let’s heal the wounded child, bring peace to every soul,

Through love and understanding, we can make it whole.

Wounded inner child, no more crying in the night,

With healing and forgiveness, we’ll set the world right.
