Your Light in My Heart Forever (Poem)

God, in Your wisdom and infinite might,
You formed the earth, You birthed the light.
With power and grace, You set worlds in place,
The heavens stretch wide, revealing Your face.
The waters roar at the sound of Your voice,
Clouds gather, and nature sings to rejoice.
You command the wind, make lightning flash,
And rain descends in a gentle splash.
When I ponder Your greatness, the mystery of life,
That we’re spirit and soul in this world of strife,
I stand in awe, humbled and small,
Held by Your hand, the Creator of all.
Thank You for the Light that shines so true,
Through Jesus, our Hope, our way to You.
In this dark world, where shadows spread,
Your light is the path on which I tread.
Throughout my time in this fleeting space,
Your light will be my guide, my grace.
I’ll hold to Your truth in all I pursue,
Your light in my heart, steadfast and true.
From the dawn of life to my final breath,
In joy and sorrow, in life and death,
Your light within me, forever to stay,
Guiding me home, showing the way.
So in all I do, and in all I endeavor,
Your light in my heart, now and forever.
