True colours often hide in plain sight,
Sometimes, discernment unveils them bright.
Blame not the journey, the faces we see,
For they gift us wisdom, help us to be.
Good souls paint joy, the happiness they lend,
While the bad carve lessons, their mark to send.
The worst bring trials, lessons profound,
And the best, oh, they gift memories unbound.
Trust betrayed by the ones we hold dear,
Love found in unexpected places, so near.
Some evoke tears for deeds we never tread,
Others, in our smiles, see no fault but instead.
Departures when needed, some just disappear,
Yet some, against wishes, choose to stay near.
This world’s a mosaic, a blend, you see,
Knowing whose hand to hold is the key.
Life’s art lies in grasping and release,
Embracing and letting go, finding peace.
Those who truly care, they’ll listen, hear,
Even in silence, their presence is clear.
Control evades in others’ hands, you’ll find,
Influence may sway shift thoughts in kind.
Watch out for souls, their vibes in the air,
True colours emerge, and time becomes their fair.
So learn to discern, read the unseen,
For true colours unfold in life’s scene.
In time, they’ll emerge, clear as day,
Each hue a story in their own way.
