Standing Together (Poem)

In shadows deep, where darkness looms,
We find ourselves in silent rooms.
No choice but to stand as one,
Beside the oppressed until day’s done.
No light yet at the tunnel’s bend,
Our conscience speaks; it must defend.
The moral compass, the guiding star,
Urges unity, no matter how far.
Calling out to powers great and wide,
Cease this genocide; let peace abide.
Prayers ascend for Palestine’s plight,
In every whisper, in every night.
Hand in hand, a global plea,
End the anguish, set hearts free.
Humanity’s bond, it’s time to show,
Stand for justice, and let compassion flow.
Though shadows linger, hope prevails,
In solidarity, the story sails.
For every soul, for every heart’s call,
Together, we stand, united for all.
