Freedom is taken,not given (Poem)

Freedom is a precious prize, not gifted but earned,
A beacon of light in shadows, where dignity is concerned.
It’s a window wide open, a path for spirits to soar,
In the vast expanse of liberty, we find so much more.

For greatness is born in hearts unburdened by chains,
In the fertile soil of freedom, where individuality reigns.
But remember my friend, it’s not granted with grace,
Oppressors won’t yield it willingly; they won’t embrace

To wait for liberation, a futile endeavor,
One must rise, one must fight, and their rights they must sever.
Don’t be fooled by false promises, don’t be led astray,
The oppressors won’t hand you freedom; it won’t come your way.

In the face of darkness, seek divine wisdom’s light,
For the journey to freedom is a fierce, endless fight.
Take it, claim it, with courage and might,
For in the battle for freedom, we find our true light.
