In the pages of wisdom, the good book does proclaim,
“Train up a child,” it says, in life’s intricate game,
For parents, the guardians of hearts yet untold,
Must instill moral values, more precious than gold.
It’s not just the school’s task, nor society’s alone,
To nurture young minds, to help them to be grown,
Parents must take the helm, lead with love and care,
Teach the moral compass that guides them everywhere.
In the realm of Good and Evil, they shall learn to tread,
Understanding right from wrong, with wisdom to be spread,
These values are the pillars, the foundation, the core,
They light the path ahead like stars on a boundless shore.
Honesty, a beacon in a world that is sometimes unclear,
Respect for one another, to hold those we hold dear,
Fairness in all dealings, courage in times of strife,
Kindness to each other is the essence of a harmonious life.
Gratitude for blessings, discipline to forge ahead,
These values shape their character like clay by a loving hand led,
A foundation strong and sturdy, a legacy to bequeath,
A testament to parents’ love and the lessons they bequeath.
So, parents, heed the call, let love and wisdom flow,
Teach the children well and watch their characters grow,
For in the way they’re trained, in the values they acquire,
They’ll become a source of pride, a flame that never tires.
With moral values as their guide, they’ll stand tall and bright,
Walking in the path of goodness, in the day and the night,
Teach the children, nurture them, let your love unfurl,
For they are the future, the hope of the world.
