A Blessing and a Curse(Social Media)

In this digital age, a double-edged sword we wield,
Social media, a blessing and a curse, revealed,
Its power to inform and entertain, we cherish,
Yet beware, for its darker side can often perish.

A blessing it is, as knowledge swiftly flows,
Entertainment at our fingertips, where imagination grows,
Banishing boredom’s grip with stories to immerse,
In the vibrant world of social media, this is our verse.

But the curse looms large; it’s a shadowy descent,
As some misuse this platform with dark intent,
Stealing power, energy, and destiny’s grace,
In this virtual realm, where deceit we must face.

Evil lurks, a digital phantom in the night,
Entering souls, with a grip so tight,
Mind control becomes their twisted goal,
Innocence is targeted as it takes its toll.

So be aware, dear friend, don’t be naive,
In this cyber realm, deceit can easily deceive,
Guard your energy, your blessings, your soul,
For social media’s powers can take a heavy toll.

A blessing and a curse, a dichotomy we see,
In the world of social media, where we all can be,
But with wisdom and caution, we’ll find our way,
Navigating this digital landscape, come what may.
