Light or Darkness – Your Choice (Poem)

The eye, a lamp, the body it does guide,
If spiritually perceptive, light will be our ride,
But if the eye is blind, in darkness, we may reside,
A choice to make, in which realm we’ll confide.

The light within, our inner self, our heart’s decree,
Full of God’s precepts, the path to set us free,
But if this light is darkness, what a dire decree,
A choice to make, in which realm we’ll be.

Can we dwell in both worlds, light and darkness alike?
In this dual existence, can we take this hike?
A decision we must face, a choice to make tonight,
Between light and darkness, we must pick our flight.

For light or darkness, it’s a choice we can’t ignore,
The paths diverge, each with its own grandeur,
So choose wisely, for the consequences are sure,
Light or darkness, it’s a choice we can’t abjure.

In the end, it’s your decision, your call to voice,
Will you follow the light or embrace the dark’s choice?
The path you tread will define your inner voice,
Light or darkness, my friend, it’s your ultimate choice.
