Steps (Poem)

In the journey of life, under the vast sky’s dome,
There’s a promise divine, guiding us on.
The steps of the righteous, so carefully sown,
By the LORD, they’re directed, by His hand alone.

With every stride, through valleys deep,
His blessings shower, His promises keep.
In the path of the just, His delights are strewn,
Lighting the way, by the sun and the moon.

And should there come a time, a stumble, a fall,
Fear not the descent nor the shadow’s height.
For you will not be hurled, nor cast aside,
The LORD holds your hand; in Him, we confide.

He sustains, He uplifts, with a gentle clasp,
In His grasp, there is strength within reach to grasp.
Through storms and trials, through the unknown,
We’re never forsaken nor left alone.

For the steps of a man, good and faithful,
Are ordained by the LORD in all that we do.
A journey not just of earth and dust,
But of faith, of hope, of a divine trust.

So walk on, walk strong, with a heart brave and bold,
For your steps are established, in His mold.
And in this walk, let your spirit sing,
For in His path, blessings endless spring.
