In the Scroll of the Book (Poem)

In the scroll of the book, my destiny unfolds,
As I journey through life, the story it beholds.
“I come,” I proclaim to the throne divine,
Inscribed in the pages, this path is mine.
Delighting in Your will, O my God,
Your law within, a guiding rod.
With joy, I share the good news I’ve found,
In righteousness and truth, my voice resounds.
I will not hold back, my lips declare,
Proclaiming Your righteousness everywhere.
For Your faithfulness and salvation bright,
I’ll shout from the rooftops, day and night.
Your lovingkindness, Your truth, I proclaim,
To those around me, I’ll never be the same.
Do not withhold Your compassion, I plea,
For Your love, Your truth, preserve me.
Though evil may encompass, and darkness may loom,
Legions of Angels dispel the gloom.
With the Holy Spirit’s whisper as my constant guide,
No weapon formed shall ever divide.
In the scroll of the book, my story is penned,
By Your grace and mercy, to the end.
With angels by my side, fear I none,
In Your presence, I’ve forever won.
