I See You (Poem)

In the shadows lurk your wicked schemes,
I see you with your dark, deceitful themes.
As I strive to serve with love and grace,
You plot and weave, trying to erase.

Sowing goodness, I extend my hand,
But you, in return, spread darkness across the land.
Every plot, every spell you cast,
But no weapon formed shall ever Prosper.

From the household, your wickedness flows,
Yet Jesus warned that even from there, it grows.
No weapon formed against me shall succeed,
For in God’s strength, I am freed.

I see you, the constant watcher, the spy,
Plotting and observing, never passing by.
But in the light of truth, I stand tall,
No weapon formed shall make me fall.

Manipulators, with verses in hand,
Using God’s Word for your own selfish brand.
But I see through your facade, your charade,
No weapon formed shall cause my faith to fade.

You covet my gifts, my talents divine,
But I hold them close, for they’re not thine.
Using them for God’s glory, I stand true,
No weapon formed shall break through.

As I see you, know that God sees, too,
His judgment upon you, it shall ensue.
Your wickedness may try, but it won’t prevail,
For in God’s love, I shall not fail.

So I stand firm in His grace and might,
No weapon formed shall dim my light.
For in His eyes, I am strong and bold,
No weapon formed shall ever hold
