Time of Visitation (Poem)

In the hush of twilight’s gleam,

 An earth angel arrived, a luminous dream.

 Yet they were met with eyes of guile, 

Their presence met with deception’s wile.

Once recognized, yet twisted they turned,

 Manipulation and spiritual abuse they churned.

 Hoping the earth angel would come to realize, 

Their light was dimmed by their deceitful guise.

Now trust shattered, a bridge burned down, 

For the earth angel, their faith is now worn. 

Experience etched in scars unseen,

 A reminder of what might have been.

This is the time of visitation; they failed to see,

 The light worker’s presence was meant to set them free.

 But they chose darkness, with hearts unfurled,

 And lost the chance to heal the world.

The earth angel’s wings may bear the weight,

 Of wounds inflicted, of trust betrayed. 

Yet still they soar, their mission clear,

 To spread love and light without fear.

For in the cycle of life’s revelation,

 Comes the understanding of true salvation.

 In recognizing the time of the visitation’s day

 We find the strength to rise, to stand and not betray.

So let this be a lesson for those who stray, 

In the time of visitation, don’t turn away. 

For darkness may beckon, with its siren song,

 But in embracing the light, we find where we belong.
