In the journey of life, a lesson we learn,
To be true to ourselves, not to others’ concerns.
Don’t be a people pleaser, the wisdom we glean,
For in chasing their dreams, our own may demean.
To reach new heights, leave the past behind,
Timing is key, the right moment to find.
Regrets accumulate when we linger too long,
Embrace change; let the past’s hold be gone.
Success is desired, but not at our expense,
In serving others’ dreams, we lose our essence.
Sacrificing our goals, our passions deferred,
Don’t be a people pleaser; let your voice be heard.
In the depths of despair, where shadows loom,
Bad times emerge, dispelling the gloom.
They awaken us to treasures unseen,
In hardship’s embrace, new perspectives glean.
Despite the kindness and respect we may impart,
Whispers of malice can still tear apart.
No matter the goodwill, some tongues will assail,
Yet, in our truth, we must prevail.
Alone in the storm, we find our might,
These trials shape us and make us take flight.
Wisdom, maturity, and courage we acquire,
In solitude’s embrace, we rise higher.
No matter the good deeds, mistakes we make,
In others’ memories, they often stake.
“No” becomes our shield, our powerful decree,
In authenticity, we find our key.
So heed this call, in life’s grandeur,
Don’t be a people-pleaser; let your spirit endure.
For in embracing your truth, you’ll find release,
In the journey of self, find your peace.
