In the quiet of our minds, a battle’s being fought,

Two natures clash within us, each with lessons taught.

The mind of the flesh leads to shadows and to death,

Pursuing sinful whispers takes away our breath.

But the mind of the Spirit brings life and endless peace,

Walking with God’s wisdom, our struggles find release.

The battle rages on, within every soul,

Two natures fight for power, for the ultimate control.

The battle of two natures, waging deep inside,

Flesh against the Spirit, where our true paths collide.

For the Spirit brings us life, and the flesh brings us strife,

Let’s live within the Spirit and find peace within this life.

The flesh desires darkness, what is contrary to the light,

The Spirit seeks us every day and night.

They’re in constant conflict in the heart and the mind,

Guiding our decisions, where our true selves we find.

The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is often weak,

In this war within us, it’s the Spirit we must seek.

For when we live in Spirit, peace, and grace, we gain,

Leaving flesh’s cravings, breaking every chain.

The battle of two natures, waging deep inside,

Flesh against the Spirit, where our true paths collide.

For the Spirit brings us life, and the flesh brings us strife,

Let’s live within the Spirit and find peace within this life.

In this battlefield of heart and soul,

We choose the path that makes us whole.

With the Spirit as our guide, we find our way,

In the light of God, each and every day.

The battle of two natures, waging deep inside,

Flesh against the Spirit, where our true paths collide.

For the Spirit brings us life, and the flesh brings us strife,

Let’s live within the Spirit and find peace within this life.

So let’s live in the Spirit, let His love unfold,

Guiding every step, making us bold.
