You Are All Guilty as Charged (Poem)

If a thief is found out, he must restore sevenfold,

All that he has stolen, in silver or in gold.

He must give the whole substance of his house if required,

To meet his fine and debt, by Heaven’s court inspired.

You are all charged by the court of Heaven’s decree,

Guilty as charged, for your audacity.

To steal and to transfer the gifts of light and grace,

From God’s chosen workers, those who seek His face.

This will teach you and the world to come,

A spiritual lesson, where judgment comes from.

For generations will know and learn to revere,

The power of God in every heart is sincere.

You sell your soul to darkness for a fleeting name,

Then, steal from God’s anointed to obtain money and fame.

In your quest for glory, you’ve forsaken the divine,

You are all guilty as charged by the celestial line.

May this judgment serve as a beacon and a light,

To warn every soul of the heavenly might.

For no deed in darkness shall ever remain concealed,

In the court of Heaven, all truths are revealed.

You are all guilty as charged; let this be known,

That reverence for God must always be shown.

In the end, justice prevails, and truth is restored,

In the light of His mercy and the strength of His sword.
