Wash Your Spirit Daily (Poem)

As we clean our bodies daily and wash our mouths each day,

We must cleanse our spirits, too, in a most devoted way.

For when the night surrounds us and in slumber we descend,

The wicked weave their sorcery, their darkness they extend.

In the quiet hours of the night, their enchantments take their flight,

Witchcraft and dark sorcery are hidden from our sight.

But when we wake at morning’s light, our spirits must be freed,

From all the dark enchantments and the night’s unholy deed.

Wash your spirit daily, cleanse it with your prayer,

With powerful invocations, let His protection be there.

Simple prayers bring comfort but for battles fierce and grand,

We need stronger, mighty words guided by His hand.

Invoke the Holy Spirit, let His power shield your soul,

Arm yourself with sacred strength to make your spirit whole.

For in the fight against the dark, we need His strength and light,

Wash your spirit daily, and stand firm and strong in His might.

Each morning, as you rise from sleep, let prayers be your shield,

Guard your heart and soul with faith, and let divine strength be revealed.

For in the dawn’s new light, His mercy shall be found,

Wash your spirit daily on your prayer ground.

Cleanse your soul with fervent faith, let no darkness stay,

With powerful prayers, cast out the night and welcome in the day.

Wash your spirit daily, let His grace renew your mind,

In the armor of His love, true peace you will find.
