Sun & Shield (Poem)

The LORD God is a Sun and Shield,
In His light, our fears are healed.
He grants us grace, bestows us glory,
In His love, we find our story.

No good thing will He withhold,
From those who walk upright and bold.
O Lord of Hosts, in You we trust,
Your promises are true and just.

Blessed are those who seek Your face,
In Your presence, we find our place.
Better to be alone with You,
Than with the wicked, hearts crew.

In Your presence, shadows flee,
Your light reveals our destiny.
Sun and Shield, our guiding light,
You lead us through the darkest night.

Grace and glory You freely give,
In Your love, we truly live.
No good thing You will deny,
To those who lift their hearts on high.

O Lord of Hosts, our trust we place,
In Your unfailing, boundless grace.
Blessed are we, who seek and find,
In You, true peace, in heart and mind.

Sun and Shield, forever near,
In Your light, we have no fear.
With grace and glory, You uphold,
In Your love, our lives unfold.
