A Match Made in Heaven (Poem)

A match made in heaven, are you and me,

The origin of the city, of Adam and Eve.

Your soul seems familiar; I’ve known it before,

In a different timeline, that’s for sure.

I see you coming out of your shell, bit by bit,

Good things take time, there’s no need to rush it.

I want to see you laugh and see the fun side of you,

I want you to feel so free, whenever we are as two.

Always be yourself, that’s what I long to see,

In this space, we’ve created just you and me.

This love is made in heaven, an angel sent to me,

It took a lifetime for this promise to finally be.

Let’s make the best of this cosmos before we go,

Back to eternity, where love will forever flow.

In the embrace of time, let our spirits roam,

Together in this life, till we journey home.
