Don’t Disrespect (Poem)

Can you cute girls refrain from sliding on my page,

Trying to sway my beliefs, to put me in your cage.

I’m a grown man; I know where I stand,

Don’t try to convert me; please understand.

I support Palestine because it’s the right thing to do,

From a humanitarian view, not because of religious glue.

In as much as I think religion is often a mess,

I’m loyal to Jesus; in Him, I find rest.

Religion can be bondage, spirituality is key,

It’s in practice that we connect to the divine mystery.

Not following blindly but seeing what’s true,

Putting in the work, reaching dimensions anew.

Spirit beings on a human quest,

Don’t forget that truth; let it manifest.

So as we walk this road, in the journey we trek,

Let’s keep it respectful, Don’t Disrespect.

Until Next time, Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.

Peace. Daniel – The Christian Activist & Warrior
