The Veil over Their Face (Poem)

A veil hangs heavy, blinding the soul,

Eyes closed to the truth, the enemy’s goal.

The world walks in darkness, lost in the night,

Unable to see the power of the light.

Their hearts are hardened, minds grown cold,

Unable to grasp the wisdom of old.

For the enemy whispers lies in their ear,

And the truth of Christ they refuse to hear.

A veil covers their Spirit, their sight,

Blocking the glory, hiding the light.

Only the anointing, the power of grace,

Can tear that veil from over their face.

Jesus, the Christ, the wisdom of God,

Removes the chains and breaks every rod.

He lifts the veil, He opens their eyes,

To see the truth that darkness denies.

For where the Lord’s Spirit is, there’s freedom indeed,

Liberty from bondage, from every evil seed.

Jesus Christ is not a curse word but a force full of might,

A superior power, the breaker of night.

Wake up, you sleepers, it’s time to see,

You’ve wandered in darkness far too long, be free!

Turn from the shadows, step into the light,

Let the veil be lifted; embrace His might.

The enemy’s grip is broken in His name,

Jesus Christ, the Lamb, forever the same.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there’s liberty,

And the veil over their face falls, setting souls free.
