God’s Promise to His Chosen One (Song)

This is what the Lord says to His anointed,
“Whose right hand I have held all along.
I will open doors that no one can shut,
I will make every crooked path straight and strong.

I will go before you and level the mountains,
Shatter bronze gates, and break through bars of iron,
I’ll give you treasures hidden in the darkness,
Riches and glory for the faithful and reliant.”

I held you close, you were never on your own.”
