Old School Love (Poem)

Tell me that old school love’s not dead,
When honest conversations ruled instead,
Before the days of online disguise,
When words were spoken, face to eyes.
Who invented this game of likes and posts,
Where voices are hidden behind faceless hosts?

Not just pictures, music, or magic dark,
Trying to twist and control the spark.
From the sacred to secular, can’t you see?
This game you’re playing lacks dignity.
Let’s leave behind these hidden schemes,
And speak our truths, not filtered dreams.

Old school love, where souls connect,
In honesty, grace, and mutual respect.
If we make our interactions real again,
We’ll build a world where peace can reign.
So here’s to love, old school and bold,
Let’s bring it back—true love, retold.
