Under the Sun (Poem)

No surprises, nothing new,
Under the sun, it’s all been through.
Every joy, every tear we’ve cried,
Every struggle, every pride.
Good, bad, or ugly, it’s all been done,
The stories told, under the sun.
But how will we cope when trials arise?
When storms rage fierce, and darkness lies?
The answer stands, eternal and true:
Our Lord, Jesus Christ, will see us through.
“In this world, you’ll face tribulation,” He said,
“But rejoice, for I’ve overcome instead.”
There’s a Power beyond what we understand,
A force unseen, from God’s own hand.
A light too bright for eyes to see,
A love that flows eternally.
Yet our ego blinds, our fears confine,
To strongholds built within the mind.
But under the sun, El Shaddai reigns,
Breaking chains and easing pains.
A power waiting to fill your soul,
To make you new, to make you whole.
So why delay? What holds you back?
This is the strength for what you lack.
Under the sun, His call is clear,
To draw us close, to hold us near.
No mountain too high, no valley too low,
His power can reach wherever we go.
So hey, what are you waiting for?
Get hooked now to Heaven’s door.
Under the sun, His love abides,
With Him, in peace, our spirit resides.
El Shaddai, the Almighty One,
The Power we need under the sun.
