Remember (Poem)
Dec
We came to this world alone, it’s true,
And we’ll leave alone when life is through.
The one we answer to, supreme and wise,
Is God alone, above the skies.
Some are sent for a reason unknown,
A purpose in time that slowly is shown.
Growing up, we felt so strange,
Set apart, outside the range.
Labeled weird, called out by name,
But deep inside, a sacred flame.
They knew who we were, those older and sly,
Through divination, they sought to spy.
They hid the truth, they tried to steal,
The gifts we carried, the power we feel.
By sorcery’s hand, they sought control,
To shatter our purpose, to claim our soul.
But now we awaken, we clearly see,
The plans of the enemy won’t capture me.
Though we forgive the harm they’ve done,
We serve and answer to only One.
God’s Spirit guides, His voice is near,
In Him alone, our destiny is here.
Remember this, keep it clear,
Our trust in man must disappear.
Stay aligned with the Holy Spirit’s call,
Stand firm in faith, through it all.
Maintain oneness with God above,
Through Jesus Christ, His endless love.
Pleased by faith, His heart we seek,
Trusting Him when we are weak.
Cut off the hindrance, let it fall,
Break every chain, surrender all.
Fulfill your mission, take your stand,
With heaven’s power in your hand.
Remember who you are inside,
And who’s you are, with arms open wide.
The chosen, the called, set apart for grace,
To light the world, to run this race.
So keep the faith, the path is clear,
God is with you—always near.
