Children of the Light (Song)

During the sleepless night, when darkness reigns, 

There’s a flicker of hope where the Light remains.

 For those who walk the narrow path with hearts pure and bright, 

They’re the chosen ones, the Children of the Light.

Children of the Light, they shine so bright, 

Guided by faith through the darkest night. 

In the eyes of God, they stand upright,

 For they can’t serve both darkness and Light.

Faithful in the smallest deeds, they prove their worth,

 For what is least to men is treasured by the Earth. 

But what is esteemed by mortal eyes, to God’s dismay, 

It is an abomination, leading souls astray.

Children of the Light, they shine so bright,

 Guided by faith through the darkest night.

 In the eyes of God, they stand upright, 

For they can’t serve both darkness and Light.

 To dine at Satan’s table is to forsake the Light,

 For the Kingdom of Darkness and the Kingdom of Right,

 Are worlds apart, with no common ground, 

And the Children of the Light, in Light, are found.

Children of the Light, they shine so bright, 

Guided by faith through the darkest night. 

In the eyes of God, they stand upright, 

For they can’t serve both darkness and Light.

So let us heed the call to walk in truth, 

To be Children of the Light, in age and youth. 

For in the end, when all is said and done,

 It’s the Light that shines brighter than the sun.
