Seared Conscience (Poem)

Everywhere we turn, a shadow looms so strong,

People lost in darkness can’t discern right from wrong.

Following the whispers of doctrines so vile,

Living by demons’ lies, they wander in denial.

Most are feasting at the table, set by shadows deep,

Claiming they follow God, but their hearts cannot keep.

Do not be deceived by the masquerade they play,

For in their hearts, the Holy Spirit does not stay.

Hypocrisy is their anthem, their consciences seared and dead,

Incapable of ethics, by demons, they are led.

A branding iron’s mark, upon their hearts it lies,

Leaving them in shadows, blind to truth’s bright skies.

So pray for the wisdom to see through the deceit,

To guard your heart with truth and keep your Spirit’s seat.

In these later times, hold faith’s beacon high,

And trust in God’s salvation as the darkness passes by.

Until Next time, Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.
