Steps Ordered by the LORD (Song)

The LORD orders our steps; how can we understand?

In every twist and turn of life, He holds us in His hand.

Whenever we turn to the right or to the left,

We hear His voice behind us, guiding with each breath.

“This is the way, walk in it,” He gently says to me,

His voice, my shepherd’s call, sets my spirit free.

Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice; they follow where I lead,”

In His hand, eternal life, He’s everything we need.

Steps ordered by the LORD, each and every day,

Guided by His wisdom, in His light, we stay.

Thank God our path is clear, His peace will never cease,

Our steps are ordered by the LORD, bringing us His peace.

In this world, people use you and their promises in vain,

But the LORD’s direction keeps us from the pain.

We surrender to our God, never to a man,

Checking backgrounds, seeking truth in His perfect plan.

“This is the way, walk in it,” His voice we will obey,

With trust and faith, we follow in His holy way.

Jesus said, “They’ll never perish, no one can snatch from me,”

In His care, we find our rest; in His love, we’re free.

Steps ordered by the LORD, each and every day,

Guided by His wisdom, in His light, we stay.

Thank God our path is clear, His peace will never cease,

Our steps are ordered by the LORD, bringing us His peace.

In every decision, in every plan,

We seek the LORD’s direction, not the word of man.

With His guidance, we will stand through every storm and trial,

Our steps are ordered by the LORD, walking every mile.

Steps ordered by the LORD, each and every day,

Guided by His wisdom, in His light, we stay.

Thank God our path is clear, His peace will never cease,

Our steps are ordered by the LORD, bringing us His peace.

So listen to His gentle call, let His voice lead you through,

In the grace of His direction, His path is always true.

For in His way, there is peace and purpose deeply stored,

Our steps are ordered by the LORD; forever, we are assured.
