In a world where whispers weave their spell,
Naive hearts, like open wells,
Drink every word, without a doubt,
But wisdom’s child takes a different route.
They tread with caution, mindful, wise,
Their gaze fixed far beyond the skies.
From where they step, they deeply ponder,
Avoiding pitfalls, they quietly wander.
While fools rush in with careless glee
Blind to the dangers they cannot see,
The wise suspect the lurking snare,
And step away with prudent care.
They are quick to anger; like storms, they rage,
Leaving behind a chaotic stage.
But those with wicked schemes, their venom spread,
They are met with scorn, their lies shed.
For the naive, a heritage of folly,
Their innocence is exploited wholly.
Yet for the wise, a crown they wear,
Adorned with knowledge beyond compare.
So let us heed this timeless call,
To tread with wisdom, lest we fall.
For in discernment’s gentle embrace,
Lies the path to lasting grace.
