At the end of the day, when the light starts to fade,

Bow your head in prayer in the silence you’ve made.

Ask the Lord to protect you through the night,

With His angels close, you’ll be alright.

Recite Psalm 91; let its words be your shield,

In His shadow, find rest; let your heart be healed.

The wicked may try, in the dark, they creep,

But with God’s embrace, you’ll peacefully sleep.

Before you sleep, pray Psalm 91,

Under His wings, till the morning sun.

Let His love be your guide; His peace be your keep,

Find His comfort and strength before you sleep.

Give your meal time to settle; don’t eat too late,

For a restful night, let your body equate.

Avoid heavy feasts; keep them light and clear,

So your dreams are gentle, with nothing to fear.

So close your eyes, let His peace descend,
