Calling on Tim Cook, Elon Musk to Free Congo (Song)

(Verse 1)
In Congo’s lands, where rivers flow,
Cobalt mined, but what do we know?
Tech giants thrive on this supply,
But the cost beneath it makes us cry.

Glencore’s hand, the supplier’s role,
To Apple, Dell, Tesla’s control,
Google, Microsoft, they all partake,
Yet, in Congo’s heart, lives are at stake.

(Verse 2)
Sulfuric acid, uranium’s trace,
Polluting rivers, a deadly embrace.
Fish vanish, farmland lost its voice,
Evictions echo, leaving no choice.

Malformations in the womb’s embrace,
Deformities born, a haunting trace.
Toxic air, a daily shroud,
A silent suffering, far too loud.

Consumers arise and see,
The truth obscured the travesty.
Withdraw support, make a stand,
For Congo’s plight, a ravaged land.
