Coming Together (Poem)

In the echoes of tragedy, education finds its place,
Genocide, a grim teacher in this wretched space.
Ethnic cleansing, a sinister form of awakening,
Peeling off the veils, truth’s light undertaking.

Beyond government curtains, truth finds its way,
People see through in the light of day.
Coming together, a unity so strong,
Against genocide’s fury, they firmly belong.

Protecting against oppression’s cruel hand,
Apartheid’s shadows across the land.
Governments deaf to the united cry,
People’s voices echo, reaching for the sky.

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ watch and pray – we are in dark times. Trust NO-ONE until they show themselves trustworthy. They must earn our TRUST.
