Don’t Follow the Crowd (Poem)

In a world where crowds often sway,

Where voices merge and blend in fray,

Remember to stand firm and bold,

Charting paths that are yours to hold.

Never just follow the crowd’s call,

Forge your dreams, big or small.

If need be, let the crowd follow you,

In pursuits that are true and true.

Courage it takes to walk alone,

Listening for the Divine’s tone.

Obedience to the Spirit, a guiding light,

Leading away from the common sight.

In youth, the crowd may guide your way,

As Divine plans unfold day by day.

But as purpose grows and visions clear,

Following the crowd can no longer steer.

For God whispers softly to the heart,

Urging us from the crowd to part.

Listen closely, follow your heart’s song,

In His direction, you’ll never go wrong.
