Evil Called Good (Poem)

Calling evil good, a darkened guise,
Men feasting on love, their hearts disguised.
Gorging on self, without fear’s reign,
Waterless clouds in selfish gain.

Carried by winds, lonely trees of fall,
Twice dead, uprooted, their voices call.
Violent waves crashing, foaming shame,
Lost stars destined for eternal blame.

Stop the killing, halt the cries,
Cease the sacrifices; hear their sighs.
Genocide’s grip, a truth laid bare,
No more sacrifices, no more despair.

The truth revealed, the darkness shunned,
Babies sacrificed, their innocence stunned.
Cease these offerings to Baal’s grim fate,
Let love reign before it’s too late.
