God is Not Automatic (Poem)

God is not automatic a truth to hold dear,

We must draw near to God for Him to draw near.

God is a spirit, and so are we,

In awakening our spirits, we find the key.

The kingdom of God is within, lying still,

It must be activated, aligning with His will.

The Power of God, a seed to cultivate,

In Christ, it blossoms, wisdom innate.

Diligence is needed, discipline too,

In prayer and meditation, we find the view.

For God’s power to form within our soul,

It requires effort and heart to make us whole.

Awaken your spirit, connect to the Divine,

In the quiet moments, let your heart align.

Seek Him with fervor, in earnest and might,

In His presence, find peace; in His wisdom, find light.

For God is not automatic. He’s a treasure we seek,

Through a life of devotion, through hearts humble and meek.

Draw near to Him, with love and intent,

And in His grace, find the time well spent.

In every prayer whispered, in every meditative thought,

We build the connection that can’t be bought.

So let’s awaken our spirits and diligently strive,

For in His presence, we truly come alive.
