My Spiritual Awakening Journey 39. The Law of Correspondence 1.

The Kingdom of God is within us, and we MUST go within to change circumstances.

The Law of Correspondence says as within us. So without out, whatever is going on inside us, reflects in our life.

This Law says as above, so below. As in Heaven, so on Earth, we also see this truth in the Lord’s prayer, which says

Our Father who art in Heaven,

hallowed be thy name.

 Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. ( As above, so below)

It is about connecting our inner and outer reality; we must change the inner truth before our exterior reality changes.

The Bible verses coming to mind are :

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he

Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it comes the issues of life.

Out of the abundance of a person’s heart, a person speaks.

Let’s see what the two wisest men(Jesus Christ & King Solomon) had to say about the Law of correspondence in their own words.

Proverbs 23.7

As a Man/ Woman thinks in their heart, so are they.

Some say we are a subtotal of all our thoughts, which is technically accurate.

Our thinking determines who we are and what we become; our environment and culture also impact who we become as they influence our inner reality, but ultimately it is thinking that shapes our thoughts.

Some people are even manipulated to think a certain way, while others could be victims of hidden enemies’ dark magic being at use in their lives.

The Enemy knows if they can get us to think a certain way, they can control us because we become what we believe.

The good thing for a Christian is that we have the Word of God that shapes our thinking, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, we do our best to live by God’s written Word – standards set by God.

The Law of Vibration connects to the Law of correspondence. These two laws equal Proverbs 23.7. However, as we proceed with other Universal Laws, we would realize that Proverb 23.7 is foundational in Spiritual Enlightenment.

Apostle Paul knew of this truth; hence he gave us Philippians 4.8 (as an aide to correct thinking), which reads as follows. Finally, [a]believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s Word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of Praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].

*** Let’s look at the part of the above verse that says, “Whatever is right and confirmed by God’s Word. One of the advantages of the Christian Faith is that we have the Holy Bible as our manual for life. The Enemy is always planting evil in people’s minds that don’t align with God’s Word.

The Enemy looks for people that will do the opposite of what God says in His Word – but Praise God, we know better, and we live by God’s Word ONLY with the Help of the Holy Spirit.

If we have the grace to live by this verse, Philippians 4.8, our outer reality would be beautiful because we have planted good thoughts in our inner reality.

Our thinking affects our thoughts, and our thoughts become things.

When we decide to become our authentic selves, spirit beings (having embarked on a spiritual awakening journey ), many things (hidden truths) about us are Revealed.

If a person is looking for Wisdom in the Bible, the book of Proverbs is the place to go.

The Law of Correspondence – which says our outer reality reflects our inner truth, is also confirmed again in the writing of King Solomon in Proverbs 4.23, which reads –

Proverbs 4.23 (Amplified classic edition)

Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance, for the springs of life flow out of it.

Before explaining the verse, let us look at the definitions of some keywords in the above verse.

Keep – means have or retain possession of.

Guard means protect against damage or harm.

From my Bible Devotion

The Book of Daniel 3:28-30

Nebuchadnezzar responded, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who has sent His angel and rescued His servants who believed in, trusted in, and relied on Him! They violated the king’s command and surrendered their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God29 Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language that speaks anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego shall be cut into pieces and their houses be made a heap of rubbish, for there is no other god who is able to save in this way!” 30 Then, the king caused Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego to prosper in the province of Babylon.

To put in my two-penny worth

It will be nice to see Christians in today’s world like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who will not bow down nor compromise the Gospel of Jesus Christ; unfortunately, such people and Churches are so hard to find in our 21st-century Christianity.

When we don’t bow, then the pagan King Nebuchadnezzar bowed down. When God showed up for His Faithful Servants.

More reverence (Awe) of King Nebuchadnezzar towards the One true God.

I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward Heaven, and my understanding and reason returned to me; and I blessed the Most High [God] and I praised and honored and glorified Him who lives forever,

For His dominion is an everlasting dominion;

And His kingdom endures from generation to generation.

“All the inhabitants of the Earth are regarded as nothing.

But He does according to His will in the host of Heaven

 And among the inhabitants of the Earth;

And no one can hold back His hand

Or say to Him, ‘What have You done?’

Verse 37

37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, Praise and exalt and honor the King of Heaven, for all His works are true and faithful, and His ways are just, and He is able to humiliate and humble those who walk in [self-centered, self-righteous] pride.”

May God and our Saviour Jesus Christ be BLESSED forever. Amen

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ watch and pray – we are in dark times. Trust NO-ONE until they show themselves trustworthy. They must earn our TRUST.

Until Next time, Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.
