A smart soul commands the morning.1
“It takes mastery to effectively exercise our Spiritual Authority.”
The Phrase “command the morning” one of the most profound scriptures in the Bible especially relating to spiritual warfare yet it’s only found in the Book of Job.
Job 38:12-13 Have you commanded the morning since your days began and caused the dawn to know its place,
13 So that [light] may get hold of the corners of the earth and shake the wickedness [of night] out of it?
The word command means to direct with specific authority, we know that Jesus had all Power and Authority and as His followers, we technically have all He has, because we are in Him (In Christ).
Let’s look at some verses on Jesus’s Authority as He has given such Power & Authority.
Matthew 28:18
Then Jesus came to them and said, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Matthew 16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 18:18
Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Now if we do not have the wisdom and understanding of this power and authority, then the enemy can mess with us.
Going back to Commanding the Morning, in which I must say, this verse must be an in your face scripture – in other words canceling all the evil done to us during the night. I am surprised that such a revelation is not as prominent as I would want it to be, however, there are other parts of the Bible that this spiritual principle is illustrated.
There are other relating verses in the word of God, that more or less share the same importance of significance of early morning prayers, such as seek God early, pray without ceasing, etc,
We are aware that our Saviour Jesus Christ often woke up early to pray, and am sure Apostle Paul did the same.
One reason why everybody must command the morning is that it’s during the night when we are asleep, the kingdom of darkness does its wickedness on people.
It’s a known fact that the dark kingdom has a specific time they carry out their wicked deeds. I mean they can do their evil at any time, but when people are asleep suits them best.
The witching hour is a time of night associated with supernatural events. Creatures such as witches, demons, and ghosts are thought to appear and be at their most powerful. (Wikipedia).
Black magic is thought to be most effective at this time (witching hour) – Wikipedia.
Consequently, because of the dark activities during the night, it’s wise to wake up and pray to cancel any evil put on a person, in other words not allowing evil enhancements to settle.
I believe the best way to approach this to pray in tongues first (to get power on you) or praise & worship, so power is built up, then pray using words. There are a few prayer books on this topic (Command the Morning) so get yourself a copy.
To be continued.
Anyway, wonderful people, May God Bless Shine His face upon you and keep you safe.
Remember Jesus Christ is the Light & Saviour of the World.
God Bless
